Traditional side-handled Japanese teapot, Kyusu, from Tokoname, Aichi. This medium size outside glazed teapot has a cute smoky pink and gray polkadot design and a wrap around built-in stainless strainer. The inside is not glazed to allow interaction with the clay during steeping, which improves flavour and adds iron to the tea. Functional design for ease of use and cleaning. A nice everyday teapot for Japanese tea lovers.
