Made sencha green tea biscuits used our organic sencha powder from Mie and Kakegawa fukamushi sencha tealeaves from Shizuoka! Here is the recipe for sencha green tea biscuits:
100g Butter, softened
1 egg yol
10g organic sencha powder
10g fukamushi sencha tea leaves
Mix the butter and sugar until pale and creamy. Add the egg yolk, flour, sencha powder and tea leaves and mix until well combined. Refrigerate dough for 30 min. Roll the dough to 2 mm thick and use a cookie cutter to cut. Bake at 170 ℃ for 7-8 min. Allow to cool on wire racks.
