About Tea Regions
Matsu Kaze visits the tea regions and farms in Japan where we get our tea. We carefully select top quality teas for your enjoyment. We want to connect you as a customer with these farms so that you know where your tea comes from and the care and dedication that the farmers in Japan take to produce this wonderful, traditional product. Like wine, different regions and farms produce different varieties and qualities of tea. A sencha tea from one region will have a different aroma and flavour than sencha from another region. Unlike many Japanese teas that are sold, we don’t sell teas that are blended from different regions as we want to preserve the pure experience of these teas.
