This handcrafted Tokoname-ware yuzamashi (water cooler) with no handle from the Takasuke kiln is used to cool water to an appropriate steeping temperature, especially for high-end sencha, gyokuro and kabesecha that are steeped at lower temperatures. It has a no-drip spout and matches well with the Hohin Teapot Tokoname.
