Rishou-en – Uji Region
Rishou-en was established in 1947 in Uji, Kyoto by the Kagata family. The family has roots in Uji from many generations prior, having at one time possessed lands dedicated to growing tea trees. Rishou-en still maintains ties with many local tea farmers in Uji, the birthplace of Japanese tea. Rishou-en's tea is selected and blended carefully by a skilled tea master.
