Super cute hand-made tea bag holder from Hasami, Nagasaki Prefecture. Hasami-ware has a long history in the porcelain industry for more than 400 years in Japan. This tea bag holder is designed as the lid of a teacup, mug or pot to steep your favorite tea bag and keep the tea warm. The string of a tea bag is hooked on the rod, which looks like the polar bear is fishing. The lid can be used for holding an infused tea bag after use or for tea snacks. The lid is designed to fit different sizes of teacups, mugs or pots.
